He looks like the neighbor next door, but to fans on social media, he’s the “weird skater kid” with amazing flow. Chunyan is a new generation standout in Taiwan’s ever-maturing hip-hop scene who combines a deep grasp of the genre and a dark, off-beat humor to create music that draws you in like a tractor beam. Currently working on a solo album for release in 2020, Chunyan also performs as one half of the bizarro-electronica-rap duo Yeemao, a team-up with Leo Wang.
